Every coin on Staple is paired with one of 20 commodity markets. Your coin's market becomes its theme: its price is shown beside your coin on its page and chart, and your coin is listed on that market's page. See Pairing and commodity markets.
Can more of a coin ever be created?
No. Every coin ends its launch with no mint authority, so its supply is fixed forever. The coin page reads this from the chain.
Can a coin's name or image be changed?
Only if it was launched with "editable by your wallet", and only by that wallet. Coins launched with the default, locked forever, can never be changed by anyone.
Can I change which market my coin is paired with?
No. The pairing is chosen at launch and recorded in the coin's metadata and launch transaction.
You do. Your wallet signs everything; the extra keys a launch needs are made in your browser. Staple's server builds and checks transactions but never signs one and holds no private key.
Does Staple charge a fee to launch?
No. A launch costs only network rent and fees, paid to the network and Metaplex. See What a launch costs.
What if my launch stops halfway?
If the first transaction landed and the second did not, you can resume: only the second is built again and its settings account is reused. If nothing landed, nothing happened. See If a launch stops halfway.
Can I sell my creator allocation before the coin graduates?
Any Solana wallet that supports the Wallet Standard, such as Phantom, Solflare and Backpack, in a desktop browser. On phones, see Wallets on mobile.
Is signing in free?
Yes. Signing in is a message, not a transaction: it costs nothing and moves nothing.
What is sim SOL?
The currency of Staple's simulated network, used for building and testing. It has no value. See Simulated network.
No. It stays locked until the coin graduates, then unlocks on the schedule you chose. If the coin never graduates, it is never released.
Do I earn trading fees as the creator?
Not under this server's current terms: the creator share is 0%. After graduation your locked half of the pool's liquidity earns its share of that pool's fees, though Staple has no button to claim them yet.
Dollar values appear only on Solana mainnet, and only when a live SOL to US dollar price is available. Elsewhere SOL has no dollar value, so amounts stay in SOL, test SOL or sim SOL.
